Self-Publishing My First Book Day 9: Mr. Audiobook Guy
Just when I think I’ve mastered a principle or necessity when it comes to being an indie author I realize that there’s far more I need to learn.
So a few days have gone by and I’m still heavy into the weeds of Amazon PPC. This stuff is still fascinating. But I’ve been procrastinating recording the audiobook part of my book. Which is what I always wanted to do.
But today I bit the bullet and set up my Lil miny studio which I had bought 2 weeks ago. It’s called a Tonor Q9. It’s actually pretty good. It’s a mid-range studio microphone and this morning right before work I set it up and then ran through some tests.
After watching 15 different Youtube video reviews of the best software I decided to download an audio editor called Audacity. It’s free but it’s incredibly robust.
