Honestly the difference between male rape victims and female rap victims is shocking. But men are simply ancillary in todays world so most people simply don't care. I want to be clear here, I'm not discrediting a woman's lived experience in anyway. But I know we as a society are quicker to empathize with them first as men are simply told their experience is "not that deep".
