How do I start a conversation with someone I like!?

When I was 14, I began to really like women. I began to form crushes and really started to formulate the type of woman I’d like to go for. The problem was I was a bumbling mess. I used to stumble over my words, and my lips would quiver with nervous distraction.

So how do you talk to a complete stranger? How do you start a conversation from scratch with someone that you find really attractive and they are 100% your type?

The first thing I’ll tell you is this when you talk to someone; it’s not your job to pique their interest and get them to be into you. Understand that and hammer it into that lovely noggin of yours first. It’s also not your job to make the other person engage back. This is why I always get annoyed with articles where they say annoying click-bate things such as “things to say to get them to like you” and all that other bullshit.

That’s not your job. You also can’t tell them “one sentence” where they’ll be all over you like white on rice.

With first-time conversations, essentially, you’re like a market street fender who has the best goods you’re selling, laying it out on the table for them to assess…
