How do you stop the slow fade?
So how do you stop the slow fade!? I’ve asked myself this question a lot. When I look back at a lot of relationships that failed and things I could have done better I wondered how I could have stopped the slow fade? What could I have done better?
I can honestly say I’ve pinpointed all the times when the slow fade began.
You know what I realized.
YOU CAN’T STOP IT.
Wait, don’t go anywhere, let me explain and at least read to the end. I promise if you read this to the end you’ll find some of the answers you’re looking for.
Like I said I knew all the times the Slow Fade had begun but only after the fact. After I had time to be very self-reflective about my relationships. The things I said. The way I behaved, my overreactions, and underreactions. I realized exactly when it happened. I’ll break it down into 3 relationships.
Keisha: I wasn’t supposed to meet her. I was actually in the process of “not dating” as I had finished splitting up with Jojo about 4 weeks before. But Keisha and I met at the gym, and started to flirt, I got her number and the rest was history.
