I can’t find men on my level!

Man, I never thought I would see the day when people who are looking for love, only want it if “They’re on my level.”

What an arrogant and self-involved thing to say. “Dating down” is such an unbelievably condescending, shallow, narcissistic way of seeing a relationship or a human being. I’m genuinely annoyed this thought process has become so commonplace.
