It’s become a common theme on some social media platforms to claim that some men are in relationships because it’s convenient or because they’re ready to settle down — not a consequence of a good search for a spouse.

Yes, there are even nonsensical articles about them on this platform, too.

The alleged implication is that these men will date a woman who meets their standards, but if that person isn’t around when they’re ready to commit, they’ll stick with what comes first.
