Men Get Dating Anxiety, Too!

Here’s how to beat or, at the very least, alleviate it.

Dating is a lot of fun. I mean a lot of fun, especially when you get to the sex. The journey of dating in itself can put you miles ahead with internal growth, but the initial stages for a lot of men can be kinda stressful, intimidating, and mortifying.

Starting to date feels like your first day at the gym — awkward, sweaty, and full of doubt as these apparent Greek gods walk around like they own each piece of the gymware, but the results of your sticking to a routine are glorious.

For many men, dating anxiety is a common barrier to finding love and building meaningful connections. Most of us just don’t want to go through pain again or that atomized feeling of just running in circles again.

Whether it’s fear of rejection, anxiety about meeting new people, or concerns about physical intimacy, dating anxiety can hold men back and make it difficult to put themselves out there, it’s kinda like carrying a backpack full of bricks to a swim meet — heavy, pointless, and guarantees you’ll sink before you even start.
