Honestly, I fucking hate texting.
I think it’s all bullshit, and people systematically try and play all sorts of insipid games to try and maintain or take some kind of power within the interaction. The whole process is just so tedious to me. Whether it’s trying to show that you’re super busy or just a little interested even though you’re REALLY interested or spacing out texts to seem to have a packed schedule. It’s all nonsense.
Sitting down, looking a woman in the eye, and building romance based on nothing but fierce mutual attraction is the best place to be. It’s like trying to carry around a knock-off Gucci bag and hoping no one notices it’s fake. The games, the pretending to be busy, the calculating — it’s all a façade, a cheap imitation of what a real connection should be. Choosing honest attraction over this façade is like proudly carrying a simple, well-worn, authentic bag from a consignment store that tells a real story.
