Self-Publishing My First Book Day 2: What’s Marketing!?
Oh, man. After 3 days of my book no longer benefiting from the marketing that amazon provided. I’ve made a total of 2 sales.
“We’re gonna need a bigger boat”.
This is fine, I had never anticipated the book to get me on Oprah in my first year. I honestly just wanted to get it out there. Now the process of learning google ad words, SEO, and PPC needs to be learned so I can start getting my book into the right hands.
In other news, my TikTok platform hasn’t been getting a lot of views these last couple of days. Genuinely not sure why but I did some research and apparently it might be due to being shadowbanned. For what reason? Who knows. But it couldn’t come at the worst time as my Linktree let me know that’s where some of my organic sales had come from.
I definitely feel a little worried now.
But this is a good thing. I’ve been through a lot of rough shit throughout my life. And I’ve always learned (After the fact) that in the midst of opportunity lies adversity. There’s are always…
