Self Publishing my first book: Day 34 — What happened!?
I genuinely do not know what happened last week. But I hardly did anything with my writing. Hardly anything with my book promotion and hardly any content creation. It was like I had a creative block at every tuner I made and didn’t have that same daily zeal as I usually do.
Even now, I’m honestly struggling to write this. I’m not sure why.
But the more I think about it; there are a few reasons.
1. I haven’t set the world on fire just yet.
When I first embarked on this journey and said to myself I was going to be a trailblazing indie author; I had all these dreams and visions of success attending Ted talks and the like. Those opportunities have not yet come, and I think there’s a part of all of us that expects success not to be easy but somewhat quick. The harsh reality is I’ve been humbled, and I know that this will take some time.
2. Comparisons
