- Exercise a few hours before your date, even if it’s just a walk. Something that galvanizes the endorphins to work for you. This will make you feel strong and energized. Your endorphins will be flowing up to a point where they promote a sense of well-being and bestows you with the courage to defeat those first-date jitters.
- Crank your favorite music while getting ready. Sing along and dance if you want to. Listening to something you love will make you feel good. I used to listen to “party rock.” I’d dance like a grandpa and do foolish dance moods to fully embrace who I was.
