This is terrible, terrible dating advice!
You all know how I feel about false “dating prophets”. These self-proclaimed dating experts like Derrick Jaxn and Matthew Hussey who only give dating advice exclusively to women for profit or people that give women-hating or man-hating dating advice.
Hate it.
In the last few weeks, I've come across some BS on social media, the web, and Reddit. Here are some of the worst I’ve heard so far and why I think it’s destructive.
1. “There’s is no reason for the dating stage to be more than a month.”
The argument here is that if someone needs that much time to decide, they’re not into you, then they’re not as obsessed with you as they should be.
Weird.
First off, no one should be obsessed with anyone that my friend is a different level of infatuation, which has some natural elements that can’t always be avoided. But obsessed? Who are these people craving this much attention?
They should have high levels of interest, yes. But not obsessed.
