I’ve been there, fellas. I’ve been on my fair share of first dates, and I understand how difficult it can be to try and force the internal energy to get out and really try when you know there’s a high probability it might not go anywhere, or worse, you got so close to what you wanted and it slipped away. It’s like preparing for battle with a rubber sword; you’re all dressed up, ready for the epic fight, only to remember you’re about as threatening as a kitten in a pillow fort. With most people using dating apps, the dating game has become even more complicated. COVID didn’t help either; it just sent us further back to social lepers who couldn’t form a decent sentence if it punched us square in the nose.

First Date fears

You finally match with a stunning woman you’ve been talking to for a while, and you feel like there’s some potential there. You set up a date, and the butterflies start to flutter. But here’s the thing: the pressure is on. You want to make a good impression, and you don’t want to mess it up. So, you put on your best outfit, you practice your jokes, and you’re ready to go…
