Can everyone just stay out of other people’s love lives? Aren’t you bored of these endless articles fretting over age gaps? Hearts don’t age, only minds do. I know 40 year old's who still have the emotional maturity of a brass door knob.

True wisdom lies in respecting the choices others make.

The most recent news of actress Millie Bobby Brown’s engagement at 19 to a fiancé who’s only a year older has been met with more than a bit of controversy. People are whining on Twitter and basically predicting her marriage to be an abject failure eventually. That in itself is kinda of fucked up.

So is 19 too young to get engaged? Or are we being restrained by traditional societal norms? Why do people care so much about this when they don’t seem to care about people just a year younger joining only fans?
