You Shouldn’t Spend More Than $10 On A First Date.

Yeah, I didn’t stutter.

Another day another stupid hot take that’s garnered some attention cause it’s click-baiting hyperbole nonsense!

That’s people meeting for a wonderfully simplistic and unoriginal cheap coffee date.

THEY’RE THE BEST.

But as current dumb trends go, the argument is now that coffee dates are the bare minimum.

Some people see coffee dates as low effort.

That’s the point, poindexter.

When meeting a stranger, you want to see if you click. If you do, then you can set up a “real date” afterward.

YES!

That’s the whole point!

Why?:

  • We don’t know you
  • You don’t know us
  • It’s cheap; we’re cheap
  • A first date should be the bare minimum
  • A first date is literally for two people who are mutually attracted to each other to see if it’s worth a second date
  • It’s in a safe, public space.
  • It’s efficient and simple, and there are no strings attached

It’s that simple.
